Team building activities are a great way to kick start your meeting or get your group connecting in a fun and energetic environment.  These activities provide team spirit, camaraderie and great outcomes for groups to take back to work. 

Team building is available at Mariners Landing through our featured partner, My Pivotal Point and Robin Weeks.  Below are a couple of examples of activities we can design for a day or afternoon to address areas of leadership, teamwork, communication, decision making or to just have some fun!

The Great Mariners Landing Yacht Race

This activity is fun, creative and guaranteed to get some folks wet!  Teams will build yachts from cardboard and duck tape and then “sail” their yachts on the lake.  Awards are given for best marketing presentation, best boat and longest sailing.  

This activity is good for groups of 20 or more.  Allocate a minimum of 4 hours.

The Mariners Landing Amazing Leadership Race

Teams must travel together using clues to get them to each destination where they will need to solve a team problem successfully.  They will gain points by taking photos of a list of sites and objects.  Points are awarded for number of clues correctly guessed, successful completion of team problems and number of photos.

 This is a great activity for groups of 20 or more.  Lots of fun, problem solving, leadership, teamwork are all outcomes of this activity.
